I believe we all need to look at ourselves for inspiration. There are too
many times we are looking outward for it whether in clever quotes, life
coaches or inspirational videos when we should start looking within
ourselves first.

But then there are just those times where the well inside is a little dry
and dusty and hearing just one person give you praise or willing to help is
all it takes for a down pour of inspiration to help move you forward.

In this weeks WYR video we see how 1 person really helped inspire Arthur
where many didn’t take the time to even try.

Stay tuned for next weeks WYR which is the last in the series and takes us
out with a whirlwind!

Zoe Raimo says:

I was paralysed when I was 12 years old from Transverse Myelitis and even
though I learnt to walk again and it is 19 years later I still have a hell
of a lot of residual weakness and issues. It’s so easy to want to give up
and just think ”meh this is about as good as I’m gonna get”, and
sometimes I have felt like that. BUT this video alone has made me want to
make a change for the better and I have signed up to a yoga teacher to if
it can help me! 🙂

video to share with students of mine. I am a yoga teacher to anyone who
wants to bring yoga into their lives…anyone! Namaste Dallas! Arthur,
you will heal many with your journey. Thank you. (And if you would be
interested in talking with me, I am looking for a very special someone to
help others who have been “thrown” away to heal and transform their
lives…even if it is someone you know through the grapevine, I might be
able to use your help…not sure if you are Native American but I need
information for other Native American men).

Bill Eldredge says:

Anyone have an update on how he is doing now, 2 years later? I’m also a

Ancillary | One says:

Arthur Boorman was a disabled veteran of the Gulf War for 15 years, and was
told by his doctors that he would never be able to walk on his own, ever
again. His story is proof, that we cannot place limits on what we are
capable of doing, because we often do not know our own potential. Niether
Arthur, nor Dallas knew what he would go on to accomplish, but this video
speaks for itself. In less than a year, Arthur completely transformed his
life. If only he had known what he was capable of, 15 years earlier.

Lera Kolegova says:

Arthur, I’m so happy for you, that it made me cry. With all seriousness,
I’m really happy for you! No one should ever give up! God bless you,
Arthur!

b richardson says:

What REALLY made this video is the times Arthur fell…and he got back up.
Success is NOT linear and without roadblocks.( Unlike what some preachers
and motivational speakers tell you.) When he really crashed into that white
dining room furniture, and KEPT GOING, that made it for me.

Mich P says:

I Love Diamond Dallas, the renegade Yogi!!

Lesa Cornell says:

You have inspired myself and my husband. In September my husband broke his
back, he did have Kyphoplasty but is still in a lot of pain today. I rolled
a car 3 times back in 1988 and have had major back problems since and a lot
of weight gain. I saw your story on FB and told my husband I want to do
this. He got me the DVD for DDP and decided to also give it a try. We
started this week. 2 days ago I showed him this video so he could see why I
am so driven and it brought a tear to his eye and he said if it helped him
it has got to help me. Thank you for sharing your story with the world and
giving us the drive to get better and never give up!
