Li Cheng says:

“In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is
within man” – not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You,
the people have the power – the power to create machines. The power to
create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free
and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.” – Charlie Chaplin

Julian Trevizo says:

People need to calm down about the whole “I am god” statement. The purpose
of the statement is to state that we are all the gods of our life. We have
the power and choice to do what we want to do and be who we want to be. It
is in no way supposed to be a disrespect to any religion, but is meant to
inspire people into taking control of their own lives.

*The best **#motivation** video I have ever seen on Google YouTube (**5:59**).
To fail is to be human. But to keep getting up when you get your ass
knocked down to the ground and to keep standing up and to keep walking on
and to keep trying despite all the failures of your life is also what it
means to be a human being. Success isn’t about who can hit the hardest, it
is about who can take the hardest hits and keep on keeping on*

Infinite Wisdom says:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.
We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and
famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your
playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about
shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to
make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of
us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we
unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are
liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
~ Maryanne Williamson

Life starts when we decide to liberate from fears, when you decide to do an
extra effort! What are you afraid of?

Ken Holman says:

I rarely make public posts about politics. I never make public posts about
religion. This post is the exception.

+Scott Cranston loves this youtube clip. In it someone recites a couple of
lines that I liked instantly. Listen to the YouTube clip. Perhaps you’ll
like it as much as I do. The part I’m talking about runs from the 2:38 to
the 3:37 marks. I’ve finally gotten around to Google it.

The passage starts with “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” The YouTube clip
does not contain the full text of the passage “Our Deepest Fear by Marianne
Williamson”

Here is the full text of Marianne Williamson’s passage, I’ve marked in bold
what was omitted from the reading in the YouTube clip.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that
we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most
frightens us. *We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of
God.* Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing
enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around
you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. *We were born to make
manifest the glory of God that is within us.* It’s not just in some of us;
it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own
fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The references to *God* are removed from the reading on the clip. I wonder
how Marianne Williamson would feel about that. I wonder how other people
feel about this. I wonder how much else have been striped, omitted, and
erased from our lives, our words, and thoughts.

I like the passage more now that I’ve read the full text of it. I hope you
do too.
